I’m supposed to be non-stop packing, but here I am. As I pack, listening to music, this song came on, and I just had to share my heart. "Faithful Still" by KingsPorch—I’ve loved this song since last year, so it’s been with me for a while. Every time I hear it, my heart is reminded of what I already know but sometimes forget: God is faithful. He has never failed, and He never will.
How often do we find ourselves wondering, Will God really come through this time? Maybe it’s an unanswered prayer, a painful loss, or a season of waiting that feels like it will never end. Our hearts know He is faithful, yet our circumstances whisper otherwise. But here’s the truth: God’s faithfulness is not dependent on our feelings or circumstances—it is anchored in His unchanging character.
When we face trials, it can feel like we’re standing in front of an immovable mountain. Maybe it’s a health crisis, financial hardship, or a broken relationship that seems beyond repair. But Jesus tells us:
"Truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” (Matthew 17:20)
God is still in the business of moving mountains. Sometimes He removes them completely, and sometimes He strengthens us to climb them—but He is always faithful to act.
Following Him doesn’t mean we will be free of suffering or challenges. Jesus Himself told us:
"I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. You will have suffering in this world. Be courageous! I have conquered the world." (John 16:33)
Hard seasons will come. Prayers will feel unanswered. The road will not always be easy. But in every valley, every unanswered question, every painful moment, He is still good. He is still present. He is still faithful.
Lamentations 3:22-23 says: "Because of the Lord’s faithful love we do not perish, for his mercies never end. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness!"
Did you catch that? His mercies never end. Not yesterday. Not today. Not tomorrow. He is faithful still. Maybe you’re in a season of deep sorrow, waiting on God to heal, restore, or provide. Maybe you feel unseen, unheard, or forgotten. But even here—especially here—He is working. Elisabeth Elliot once said: "God has never promised to solve our problems. He has not promised to answer all our questions. But He has promised to go with us."
Sister, He is with you. One of the most beautiful truths about God’s faithfulness is that it does not depend on us. Even when we falter, He remains steady. 2 Timothy 2:13 reminds us: "If we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot deny himself."
Have you ever felt like you failed too much, doubted too often, or struggled too long for God to still be faithful to you? Oh, friend, He is not like us. He does not grow weary. He does not waver in His promises. He doesn't love us less on our worst days.
Psalm 36:5 says: "Lord, your faithful love reaches to heaven, your faithfulness to the clouds."
There is no limit to His faithfulness. It stretches beyond what we can see, beyond what we can understand. And because He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), we can trust that He will never fail us.
And because we serve a faithful God, we should be bold in sharing His goodness. We don’t have to be silent about what He has done for us. In a world that constantly questions and doubts, we have the privilege of standing firm and saying, I know my God is faithful.
If we believe in a mountain-moving God, why would we stay quiet? If we have seen His faithfulness, why would we keep it to ourselves? The world needs to hear it.
Sister, if you are weary, if you are wondering if He sees you—He does. If you are doubting if He will come through—He will. He is the mountain mover. He is faithful still. Always has been. Always will be. Sometimes we won’t get the answer we want or wish, but His plans for us are better than we could ever imagine. His ways are higher (Isaiah 55:8-9), His wisdom is perfect, and His love for us is unwavering. Trust Him. Even when you can’t see the way, He is already there. Let’s be bold in proclaiming His faithfulness.
And if you need a listening ear, a prayer, or even just a reminder that you’re not alone—I’m here. You don’t have to carry it all by yourself.
