God Is Good: More Than Words We Say This morning, a sweet friend shared Psalm 92:4: "You thrill me, Lord, with all You have done for me! I sing for joy because of what You have done." The moment I read it, I smiled because it perfectly captured what has been on my heart these past few days. Life has been incredibly busy lately. In fact, this has probably been one of the busiest summers our family has ever had. Between projects, deadlines, writing curriculum, family activities, travel, and preparing for what comes next, the days have seemed to fly by faster than I can keep up with them. One of the projects that has occupied much of my time has been writing a curriculum, and I can honestly say it has been a joy. I have loved digging into God's Word, organizing thoughts, and creating something that I hope will encourage and equip others. It has reminded me how much I enjoy teaching and how grateful I am for opportunities to use the gifts God has given me. In the middle of ...

  All Glory to the Lord For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever. Amen.  Romans 11:36 Oh my friends. All glory to the Lord always and forever. No matter where you are today on your journey, whether you are on a mountaintop season, deep in a valley, or in one of the hardest places of all, the waiting season, this truth is steady and sure. The Lord our God has not left you. He has not forgotten you. He has not turned His face away. God is close to the brokenhearted.   I know how heavy grief, loss, or disappointment can feel. The quiet moments, the questions that have no answers, the ache in your heart, it can feel like you are alone. But even in sorrow God is near. He carries your heart when it feels too heavy and He holds you close The Lord is close to the brokenhearted.
